Instrumental Wedding Music
Here's a list of instrumental music suitable for use in your wedding. The list is by no means comprehensive, just selections from what we have in our library. Music always works best when performed live, but most weddings don't have the budget for a full orchestra (so we're glad the CD was invented!). The selections are grouped according to the part of the ceremony they fit best in, with comments where appropriate.
Prelude
Music
Water Music (Handel) - my personal favorite. It runs for 54 minutes, so there's enough music to fill the time easily, unless the bride's hiding in back having second thoughts. (It was especially appropriate at a wedding I did in a hotel atrium with a waterfall behind the wedding area.) Concerto for Two Trumpets in C Major (Vivaldi) Adagio in G for Strings & Orchestra (Albinoni) Brandenburg Concerto #5 in D; Affetuoso (Bach) Air On The G String (Bach) Concerto Grosso in D Major, Op.6 No.4 (Corelli) Spring from "The Four Seasons" Op. 8 (Vivaldi) Romanze, from "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik" (Mozart) Ave Maria (Schubert) Barcarolle (Offenbach) various short classical pieces on two CDs titled "The Romantic Harp" and "The Romantic Flute" pop Christian instrumentals titled "Classic Christian Romance" (10 songs, including "I Will Be Here", "Your Love Amazes Me", "Love Will Be Our Home", totaling 47 minutes +) instrumental CD titled "Love Will Be Our Home" (a mix of church, contemporary Christian, & pop tunes) Processional
Music
Canon In D (Pachelbel) - good for bridesmaids Plaisir d'amour Air On The G String (Bach) Bridal March from Wagner's "Lohengrin" - the classic 'Here Comes The Bride' Recessional
Music
Wedding March (Mendelssohn) - the classic; a great arrangement, with trumpet fanfare & everything!. Trumpet Voluntary (Clarke) Concerto for 2 Trumpets in C Major (Vivaldi) - light. Brandenburg
Concerto #5 in D; Allegro (Bach)
